Who Teaches and Who Learns

All right, then:
A star cannot see
A stream cannot speak
The wind cannot run

You are both their student and their proxy:
For the star, look upon your child in Love
For the stream, answer his questions in Wonder
For the wind, teach her to walk her days in Gladness

Knowing for whom you act
Understanding who teaches and who learns
Go with your children out into the world
To gaze at the stars
To listen to the stream
To run with the wind.
